The St. Bernadette Relic Tour – Journey of Grace is underway, and the first stops have already been unforgettable.

From Washington, D.C. to Emmitsburg and Baltimore, pilgrims have gathered in extraordinary places to pray, venerate the relics, and encounter the message of Lourdes.

THE JOURNEY BEGINS

Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception — Washington, D.C.

What a beginning.

The national pilgrimage opened at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, where the relics of St. Bernadette were welcomed into one of America’s great Marian shrines.

Pilgrims came to pray, attend Mass, bring their intentions, and begin this remarkable Journey of Grace together.

A GROTTO IN THE MOUNTAINS

National Shrine Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes — Emmitsburg, Maryland

Then the journey moved to the mountains of Maryland.

At the National Shrine Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes, the relics came to a place already steeped in the spirituality of Lourdes.

In the quiet of the Grotto, pilgrims gathered to pray, reflect, and place their needs before God through the intercession of St. Bernadette.

For a moment, Lourdes felt very close indeed.

BALTIMORE WELCOMES BERNADETTE

Cathedral of Mary Our Queen — Baltimore, Maryland

The Journey of Grace continued at the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen in Baltimore.

Families, clergy, parishioners, and pilgrims came before the relics of St. Bernadette, each carrying something different:

A prayer.
A burden.
A thanksgiving.
A hope.

Every stop has its own character, but the message remains the same:

Come as you are.
Bring what you carry.
Pray. Trust. Hope.
